Video
Picture that is cut to the finished sound.
Video at SN7 is for the song or the ministry message that needs to be seen: a performance film, a lyric video, an interview, or coverage of a gospel event. The audio is not an afterthought added under shaky footage.

What we film
The studio has a lit set for conversations and performance, with cameras and a desk where the take can be watched as it happens. That is the right room for a music video that lives on the song, for a testimony, for a short ministry film, and for the kind of interview that should not look like it was shot in a passage.
We also cover gospel events and church gatherings in Durban when the brief is clear: what must be captured, how long the programme is, and whether you need a same-week recap or a slower edit. A full concert film and a ninety-second clip are different jobs. They get different quotes.
Audio and picture stay related
If the song is still a demo, finish the master first, or at least approve the mix. Editing picture to a file that will change is how films drift out of sync with the emotional loudness of the chorus. If the song still needs to be recorded, start with recording and schedule the shoot after the vocal is the one you will release.
On a performance day we record or play back clean audio. A camera microphone is not the vocal chain. The point of doing this inside a studio is that the sound and the image can be directed together.
What to decide before the shoot
- Runtime. A three-minute song and a ten-minute ministry film do not share a call sheet.
- People. Names, wardrobe notes, and who is speaking.
- Language. Many of our sessions move between English and isiZulu. Tell us so titles and captions are planned, not guessed.
- Delivery. A finished edit, or the graded footage and the clean audio for your own editor.
Bring references. A reference is how we avoid shooting a performance when you wanted a testimony, or a testimony when you wanted the song.
Questions about this service
Do you shoot outside the studio?
Yes, when the location serves the piece and the date is planned. Church halls, beachfront light, and event coverage around North Beach and the inner neighbourhoods are all discussable. The studio set is the controlled option.
Can you make a lyric video if we are not ready to perform on camera?
Yes. A lyric film still needs the approved audio, the words typed correctly, and a visual direction. It is a real edit, not a template with the title typed in.
How long does an edit take?
It is part of the quote. A single performance video is not the same timeline as a multi-camera conference. We would rather give you a date than promise "as soon as possible".
